Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Cartersville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Cumberland County is soliciting quotes from qualified and licensed contractors construct prefabricated picnic shelters and concrete slabs at three County park locations. Each park location will include (2) shelters for a total of six (6). The scope of work will include, but not limited to the following: 1. Excavate and prep concrete pads, to include 2 inches of 57 stone and 4 inches of 3000 psi concrete. 2. Concrete Pads to be 13 feet by 15 feet in size, properly formed, and reinforced with fabric or wire. 3. Shelters are prefabricated - 13 by 15-foot shelters. All materials are included with each shelter, only the labor for install and construction is required. 4. Shelters will need to be anchored to the concrete pad. 5. Park locations include Cartersville Park (13 Samuels Drive, Cartersville, Va 23037), Luther P Jackson Park (1874 Anderson Highway, Cumberland, VA 23040), and Randolph Park (2632 Cumberland Road, Farmville, Va 23901).
