For Propane The intent of this Invitation for Bid is to hire a qualified and authorized contractor to provide all labor, transportation, supplies, materials, equipment, permits and fees necessary to provide and deliver propane on an as needed basis as specified herein for the City of Suffolk and Suffolk Public Schools (government agencies). Prebid/Preproposal Conference: NA The contract shall cover the period beginning May 1, 2023, or upon full execution of contract, and continuing through April 30, 2024. This contract may be renewed based on the terms and conditions at the expiration of its term at the sole discretion of the City. Automatic renewals will occur for up to four (4) additional one-year periods through April 30, 2028. The right is further reserved by the City to not renew the resulting contract at the expiration of the anniversary date by furnishing the contractor with thirty (30) days written notice. The respondents to this IFB shall not contact, either directly or indirectly, any other employee or agent of the City regarding this IFB. This prohibition shall also extend to the Suffolk City Council and other elected City officials. Any such unauthorized contact may disqualify the bidder from the procurement. All questions concerning bid must be in writing and received five (5) business days prior to the bid opening.
