Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Wayland, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility.
The Town of Wayland is soliciting bids from qualified firms to supply and install a 50 yd. compactor at the Town of Wayland transfer station. Any questions regarding this Invitation For Bids shall be directed in writing to John Bugbee, Acting Town Manager, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778 or via email to jbugbee@wayland.ma.us. Questions must be received by 5:00 PM on Thursday, February 16, 2023. The Town will respond only to questions that are required to submit a fair and competitive proposal To supply and install a 5.5 cubic yard compactor and a 50 cubic yard container. To remove and dispose ofthe existing compactor, motor and hopper. To move existing container within Transfer Station The work ofthis contract is for the replacement ofone Solid Waste Heavy Duty Stationary Compactor and Container including delivery, removal ofthe old compactor, motor and hopper as well as the relocation ofthe existing 50 CY Container (to be moved elsewhere within the Transfer Station, under the direction ofthe Transfer Station Manager), as well as other requirements listed herein. Permits, licenses, equipment, labor, supplies required to conduct the work are the responsibility ofthe Contractor.
