Renovation of a multi-residential development in Hamilton, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 23-story above grade multi-residential development.
CityHousing Hamilton requires a Contractor to replace the sanitary piping throughout the 23-storey high-rise building located at 191 Main Street West and the large parking garage shared with 200 Jackson Street in Hamilton. Work in this Contract includes but is not limited to the following. Refer to the drawings and Specifications for additional details. - Remove and replace existing sanitary piping where specified on the drawings; - Provide firestopping throughout the building where specified; - Cut, patch and paint all walls and ceilings where piping has been removed and replaced; - Provide a third-party security guard service to open and close apartment doors, monitor work, conduct fire watches, etc. - Removal and abatement of the existing suspended ceiling tile system on the B1 Level. - Installation of a new suspended acoustical ceiling tile system on the B1 Level. - Provisional Item 1: Insulate and heat-trace sanitary piping traps located in the shared parking garage. - Provisional Item 2: Replace sanitary risers located within the Hamilton Urban Core Community Healthcare Center.
