Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Kirkwood, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of March 13, 2023, project was awarded to E. Meier Contracting, awarded amount is $435,035 including alternate amount.** The Scope of Work consists of the removal and replacement of concrete slabs on Bent Brook Drive, totalling approximately 4,100 SY. Nine existing curb ramps will be replaced and three new ramps installed to PROWAG standards. Traffic control and other incidental items shall be included as shown in the specifications. The surface area is approximately 390 SY. Remove and Replace 8" PCC and 4" Aggregate Base Remove and Replace (or new) Curb Ramps Overexcavation (if needed) R&R Asphalt Driveway (if needed) R&R 8" PCC and 4" Aggregate Base on Brook Valley Drive Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
