2023 Asphaltic Concrete Overlays (1,458 Tons) The City of Kirkwood reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities therein, and accept the bid most advantageous to the City of Kirkwood. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply in all respects with the State Statutory provisions concerning the payment of prevailing wages on Public Services, Section 290.262 and shall pay to all workmen performing work under the Contract not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages as determined by the Dept. of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. The successful Bidder shall comply with strict conditions of the Contract Documents. Should any conflict arise between this information and the Contract Documents, the Contract Documents shall prevail. Work by Contractor: 1. This work shall consist of coldmilling 2" of the existing bituminous surface, SS-1H tack coat, 2" compacted Type C Bituminous Pavement overlay (St. Louis County Type "C" Bituminous Pavement-50 gyration), and temporary striping. ADA curb ramps, and spot asphalt or concrete curb repair will be required in specified locations.
