The Project consists of rehabilitating Community Park with recreational features inclusive to all ages and mobility level, functioning to serve the community for events, exercise, play, and leisure. Work consists for removal of existing playground equipment, gravel playground area, concrete wall, and asphalt, site preparation, construction of pedestrian pathways, engineered wood fiber areas, and installation of cast-in-place concrete stairs with railings, trash receptacles, pet waste station, landscaping, and ADA parking area improvements. Bids will be received for the following Contract No. 1 - General Construction: A. Base Bid: Work under the Base Bid consists of removal of existing playground equipment, gravel playground area, concrete wall, and asphalt, site preparation, construction of stone dust pathways, engineered wood fiber areas, and installation of cast-in-place concrete stairs with railings, trash receptacles, pet waste station, landscaping, and ADA parking area improvements All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Addenda will be issued at least five (5) days prior to the date of Bid opening.
