Job No. C-91-188-22, I-80 at Briggs, Phase III Project, Will County, Region One/District One. This project requires 25% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on May 4, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Region One/District One Office in Schaumburg. Phase III engineering is required to provide construction inspection services for the replacement and widening (including vertical clearance improvements) of the bridge carrying Briggs Street over I-80, replacement and widening of the Briggs Street pavement approaching the bridge over I-80 with resurfacing of existing pavement to tie into existing to remain, drainage improvement, signing, roadway lighting and traffic signal interconnect infrastructure, any and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvement. The anticipated construction completion date is October 31, 2024. The Consultant must complete and submit final measurements, calculations, and final contract records documents to the department no later than six (6) weeks after the completion of the project. The Prime firm must be prequalified in the Special Services (Construction Inspection) category to be considered for this project. Statements of Interest, including resumes of only the key people noted above, must be submitted electronically to the Central Bureau of Design and Environment through the Engineering Prequalification and Agreement System (EPAS).
