(980-Ft) project which includes replacement and widening of the bridge carrying Briggs Street over FAI 80 in Joliet Township within Will County.Job No. C-91-188-22, I-80 at Briggs, Phase III Project, Will County, Region One/District One. The Briggs Street Bridge over I-80 reconstruction work begins just north of the eastbound I-80 ramp intersection and ends just south of the westbound I-80 ramp intersection for an approximate length of 980 feet (0.186 miles). The improvement is located within Will County in Joliet Township DESCRIPTION OF IMPROVEMENT - Replacement and widening (including vertical clearance improvements) of the bridge carrying Briggs Street over I-80 - Replacement and widening of the Briggs Street pavement approaching the bridge over I80 including resurfacing of existing pavement to tie into existing to remain - Replacement and upgrading of the existing drainage system - Replacement and upgrading of signing - Roadway lighting and traffic signal interconnect infrastructure - Traffic will be maintained on Briggs Street using staging - The work shall include all incidental and ancillary work necessary to complete the project as shown in the plans and as described herein.
