**As of June 6, 2023, project was awarded to Miles Resources, LLC, awarded amount is $1,209,708.69.** D-23-01 This contract provides for the installation of approximately 2,000 LF of 2-inch and 8-inch diameter sewer force main, water valve removal and replacement and street reconstruction with fiber reinforced hot mix asphalt on Mullen Rd SE. Work to include pavement removal, paving, adjustment of utility appurtenances, striping, water service line, meters, water valves, hydrant assemblies, connections to existing water system, sewer force main abandonments, sewer service line, sewer valves, pig launch ports, side sewer stubs, connections to existing sewer force main and lawn restoration and other work. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check for five percent of the amount of the proposal made payable to the City Treasurer, or an approved bid bond for five percent of the amount of the proposal executed on the approved form attached to these specifications. If bid bond is used, the five percent may be shown in dollars and cents or the form may be filled in by inserting therein, in lieu thereof, "five percent of the amount of the accompanying proposal". Check of unsuccessful bidders will be returned immediately upon award of contract. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities.
