Renovation of an educational facility in New Paltz, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 32,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and 38,000-square-foot educational facility.
CR#: 2138392 The work of this single bid project includes completing a comprehensive interior renovation of Peregrine Dining Hall. The renovation will include architectural, structural, MEP, replacement of the roof and windows, upgrades to the exterior building envelopes, hazardous materials abatement, construction of a new elevator and enclosure of the area below the existing building overhang above the first floor. A Project Labor Agreement (PLA) has been adopted for this project. This agreement openly promotes bidding from all contractors union and non-union. The low bidder must execute and abide by the terms of the project-specific Project Labor Agreement. This Project Labor Agreement also impacts acceptable staffing patterns for the project. The PLA should be read in its entirety by all potential bidders prior to submitting a Proposal.
