The JFT shade installation project will include the removal and disposal of existing mini blinds and the installation of new roller shades in approximately 110-120 individual spaces within the 10 story Jacobson Faculty Tower on the SUNY New Paltz campus. Each individual room shall require the installation of 2 or more sections of 6' +/- roller shade. Contract drawings show additional information. All work on this Contract is to be completed within/by 59 days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. There is no site visit. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders.
