Bids are invited for the following contract: WEST SIDE SOCIAL CLUB ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT The Scope of Work to the West Side Social Club Building includes: (1) Remove and Replace the existing Shingled Roof and Underlayment and dispose in a legal manner, (2) Remove and Replace the existing Gutters and Downspouts and dispose in a legal manner, (3) Remove and Replace all existing roof vent boots, (4) Remove and Replace Aluminum Drip Edge, (5) Install New Power Vents with Dehumidifier, and (6) all miscellaneous items for a complete roof replacement. Prospective bidders are urged to familiarize themselves with the site and review the scope of work and construction documents. Any contractor who does not do so and submits a bid does so at their own risk. BID SECURITY in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of their bid amount and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of their bid amount within 15 days of the contract being awarded. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The project is funded by a grant from the LSA Program Grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority and all requirements of this Authority are to be met by the Bidders. The successful bid will be required to submit Non- Discrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause which is contained in the Contract Documents. In this period of time, no Bidder may withdraw their Bid. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Owner. Any inquiry received seven or more days prior to the date fixed for opening bids will be given consideration.
