Site work for a mixed-use development in Coachella, California. Working plans call for site work for a 2,000-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; and swimming pool.

No definite date for the rebid.** The City of Coachella is seeking proposals from qualified Design/Build (D/B) firms or teams to provide design and construction services for the Veteran's Park Splash Pad Project. The required services and performance conditions are described in the Scope of Work (or Services). The site is located within the City's Veteran's Park, with the proposed project location to the east of Orchard Avenue, southeast of 5th Street in Coachella, CA. Should discrepancies or omissions be found in this RFP or should there be a need to clarify this RFP, questions or comments regarding this RFP must be put in writing and received by the City no later than 1:00 p.m., TUESDAY, February 28, 2023. The City proposes to reconstruct an existing 2,000 SF landscaped seated area to a splash pad. The site is located within the City's Veteran's Park, with the proposed project location to the east of Orchard Avenue, southeast of 5th Street in Coachella, CA. The Design/Build (D/B) Contractor will be responsible for the preliminary and final design plans for the splash pad area, construction activities consistent in conformance with the concept plan (see Appendix A and Appendix B), including but not limited to salvaging and removals; installation of pavers; splash pad with up to 15 in ground water jets, plumbing and electrical for the splash pad, in ground lighting, concrete topcoat of urethane cement sealer for use in water feature location and all required electrical and plumbing elements. Additionally, the project includes up to two shade structures, benches and replacement/relocation of existing salvaged plaques. The D/B team shall provide the City with up to two design options for proposed splash pad in a patriotic theme to blend into the overall Veteran's Park. Each design option shall include colored renderings of the proposed concept. Following approval of the concept by the City, the D/B team shall prepare final plans for City review and approval prior to initiating construction activities.
