The County of Santa Barbara General Services Department ("County") is soliciting proposals from qualified firms ("Architectural & Structural Engineer") to provide Architectural & Structural Engineer Services for the County of Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez Airport Authority site located on 910 Airport Road, Santa Ynez, CA 93460. Architectural & Structural Engineering services shall include a review of the existing site conditions (to assess structure fire damage and advise on any potential testing that would be required), in order to provide full systems design through construction administration along with cost estimating services. The purpose of this RFQ is to solicit meaningful proposals so that the County may select from among a range of proposals that best meet our needs and requirements. The County urges all interested proposers to carefully review the requirements of this RFQ. Written qualification submittals containing the requested information will serve as the primary basis for final selection. All proposals will be reviewed by the Selection Committee. The County reserves the right to select a firm based on the responses to this RFQ and/or to conduct interviews at their discretion. The County of Santa Barbara General Services Department will serve as a full design partner for the project and will provide current and future programming information that will guide the design and project implementation. The partnership is important and vital to project success. The County will award a single contract for the services requested in the RFQ. All questions and responses to this RFQ must be submitted electronically no later than Friday, February 10, 2023 @ 5 PM as indicated in the RFQ. Submittal by mail, fax, or e-mail is not acceptable.
