Renovation of a water / sewer project in Lake Wales, Florida. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The headworks is the piece of equipment at the entrance to the wastewater plant. Due to the corrosive nature of the wastewater environment the equipment that comes into direct contact is in a state of scheduled constant repair or maintenan It is time in the scheduling to have this maintenance for the headworks. Funded by SRF loan proceeds. As of June 20, 2025, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Engineer firm information and a firm timeline for construction has not been determined. This project is included in the City of Lake Wales FY 2024-2025 CIP. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
