Rehabilitation of Barwick Street from Warfield Avenue to St. Clair Street via full depth reclamation. Stormwater improvements are also included within the Project, including installation of new pipe and storm structures along Barwick Street, installation of new pipe and storm structures along Warfield Avenue, grading of swales along Barwick Street, and construction of two new ponds on the south side of Barwick Street and Osceola Avenue. The project will also include the installation of approximately 1,900 linear feet (LF) of 8-inch PVC water main, reconnection of existing services and water meters, and abandonment of 1,900 LF of 8-inch asbestos cement water main. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of five percent (5%) of Bidders maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid bond. The Owner will require that the Contractor furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. All Payment and Performance Bonds shall be secured from or countersigned by an agency or surety company recognized in good standing and authorized to do business in the State of Florida.
