For Bellingham International Airport Parking Lot Security Cameras The scope of work for this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the project identified above including the following major work items: Install security cameras on existing light poles or on new contractor provided poles as noted on the drawings. Install antennae and all associated appurtenances for wireless cameras where shown on the drawings. Provide and install new buried conduit where shown on the drawings. Work shall include all saw cutting, clearing, grubbing, asphalt demolition, trenching, pipe installation, bedding, backfill, repair or replacement of any buried irrigation system components or other utilities impacted by construction, and site restoration to match existing. Provide and install all CAT5E, fiber optic and conductor cables in existing or Contractor installed conduits as shown on the drawings. Provide and install a new security pedestal to connect new CAT5E and fiber optic cables as shown on the drawings. Complete all work required to connect the new cameras to the Port's existing camera system, coordinate and communicate with the Port's IT department for IP address assignments, modify or update software as needed and all other work required for a complete and operable camera system. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, money order, or an original signed and stamped surety bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to the Port of Bellingham. The Port of Bellingham reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. All bids submitted shall be considered as valid offers for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of the bid opening during which time the Port of Bellingham will make the award or return all bids. Any and all questions related to this project must be submitted via email prior to 5:00 PM, local time, on Thursday, March 2, 2023. No questions will be accepted after that time. The project shall be Substantially Complete within 60 calendar days following the Notice to Proceed Date. Should the Contractor fail to complete the Work within the time allotted, liquidated damages shall be assessed an amount not to exceed $500 per calendar day.
