Renovation of a municipal facility in Flint, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
All bidders will be informed who is awarded the contract. Contract will be awarded based on cost and time line stated in bids. Contractor to provide total price (lump sum) for the unit and for final contract amount for work described in each bid package they are bidding on. Forms are in the Bid Packages. FHC needs these units complete in a timely manner, so Calendar days for completion will be 120 days from Notice to Proceed to complete work. All work will be performed under the guidelines for the Capital Fund Grant Program managed through the Detroit Area Office of Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Davis-Bacon wage rates must be paid. Section 3 workers are encouraged. Bids must be submitted on forms furnished by the FHC and shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5) of the bid amount, if the bid price is over $25,000.00, Liability, Workers Compensation and Automobile Insurance is necessary to work on FHC properties.
