Project Description: Base Bid: Replace various building roofs, provide new roofing insulation where occurs, and replace skylights. Bid Alternate #1: Provide new traditional (20oz./sq. ft.) solid copper batten roof system fastened to new 7/16" sheathing over existing roof structure. Provide a new seamless metal gutter system with downspouts that will tie into the existing storm system located in the basement of the building. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security according to the requirements in Section 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders. Bidders are required to submit qualifications to the approval of the Architect and Owner with their bid. Submit your Bid on the Bid Form provided. Refer to other Bidding requirements described in Section 00 21 13. Bids are required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any or all Bids. A walkthrough will not be performed, due to the amount of snow on the roof. Photos of the existing roof can be found on sheets A801, A802, A803, and A804 of the Construction Documents.
