Separate sealed bids will be received for Contract 1 -Site Clearing and Tree Removal in preparation for the construction of a Waste Convenience Center. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit his bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. These include Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. Further, Title VI Minority bidders are encouraged to bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. If Bid Amount exceeds $25,000.00, the Bidder awarded the contract shall execute a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond and shall furnish insurance as required in the General Conditions. The Bidder awarded this contract shall complete the project within 30 calendar days after the date of authorization to start work. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $800 per calendar day.
