This invitation is extended by Lackawanna County for the construction of the described project. Sealed bids, in duplicate, are invited for Electrical Contracts for the proposed work. Description of Work: The work of this project includes information technology and power infrastructure improvements located at the Lackawanna County Courthouse 200 North Washington Avenue, Scranton, PA. Bid Security: A certified check or bank draft, US Government Bond, or a Satisfactory Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the amount of the bid and drafted in favor of Lackawanna County shall be submitted with each bid. Performance Bonds: The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for Performance and Labor and Materials Bonds which are acceptable to Lackawanna County. Wage Requirement; Equal Employment Opportunity: Attention is called to the wage and equal employment opportunity requirements of this project, as contained in the Bid Documents. Proposal Term: No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the time of opening without the consent of Lackawanna County. Contract Time: One Hundred Eighty (180) calendar days has been established as the construction period. Attention is directed to the liquidated damages clause in the Special Conditions section of the specifications. Permits: The successful Bidder shall be required to obtain and pay costs of all applicable licenses, permits and fees and shall submit copies to Lackawanna County.
