Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Newark, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Newark is seeking bids from interested firms for the above referenced project. The project consists generally of park pathway asphalt concrete and concrete construction, repair, and rehabilitation along with outdoor sport court rehabilitation, resurfacing, and restriping at various parks throughout the City of Newark, and other items of work necessary for a complete scheme of public improvements. The Contractor shall possess a Class A or C-12 or C-32 California Contractors license and register with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) at the time of the bid opening. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. However, Bidders are strongly urged to visit the job sites before submitting bids. Submission of a bid shall be considered as an acknowledgment of site investigation. Bidder’s Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid (Check Appropriate Attachment) Note: Refund of a Bidder’s Bond in the form of a Cashier’s Check will be made by returning the unendorsed Cashier’s Check to the Bidder, after the City has entered into a contract with the apparent low Bidder. Therefore, the Cashier’s Check receipt should be retained by the Bidder.
