Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Asheville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 143-131, bids will be received by the City of Asheville as noted in the "IB-02 RECEIPT AND OPENING OF BIDS" section of the Instructions To Bidders. Description of Work: The overall scope of the project is to replace the existing hot water boiler system at the Tempie Avery Montford Community Center, located at 34 Pearson Drive, Asheville, NC. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Demolish the existing boiler, pumps, and piping system in the boiler room. 2. Install two new condensing boilers, pumps, piping, and flues. Boiler system controls will be integral to the boilers. 3. Provide electrical system upgrade and power for the boiler. In addition, the following bid alternates are included in the bid proposal: Alternate 1: Owner's Preferred Boiler - Lochinvar FTX Series Alternate 2a: Boiler: 5 Year extended parts and labor warranty Alternate 2b: Boiler: 5 Year service agreement Deadline to Submit Questions Tuesday, February 28, 2023 @ 3:00pm Anticipated Construction Start Friday, April 14, 2023
