Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Port Orange, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of September 04, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. The project consists of a 12-foot wide shared use asphalt path. The project limits on Willow Run Boulevard are from Williamson Boulevard to approximately 225 feet to the east of Chardonnay Drive for an approximate total length of 1,319 feet, and approximately 86 feet to the west of Hidden Lake Drive to approximately 113 feet to the east of Hidden Lake Drive for an approximate total length of 199 feet. The limits on Williamson Boulevard are from Willow Run Boulevard to approximately 1,288 feet to the north of the intersection of Williamson Boulevard and Willow Run. Total project length is approximately 2,806 feet (0.53 miles). The project is being funded by a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement Bidders will comply with the Federal Aid Contract Requirements in Exhibit 4. Prime Contractor is to be prequalified in the work class: Flexible Pavement. There shall be no preference given to Bidders regarding the location of the physical address of the Bidder's place of business. A Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety or a certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Port Orange, Florida in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposed bid must be submitted with each bid. If awarded, the Bidder must be able to obtain both payment and performance bonds equal to one hundred percent (100%) of project value from a surety company licensed in Florida and must submit proof of their present bonding capacity with their submitted bid package in the form of a current (not older than 3 months) letter from bidder's bonding agent. Bidder's failure to include the bonding capacity letter with bid package may result in rejection of bidder's submittal. DESCRIPTION: The project consists of a 12-foot wide shared use asphalt path. Last day for questions will be July 25, 2025, by 5:00 PM EST. Bidders must be a commercial entity licensed to do business in the State of Florida and perform the services identified herein. Bidders must be properly registered and licensed to provide the services identified in the scope of work by all applicable state and local agencies.
