The Kenton County Fiscal Court is seeking proposals for Demo, Framing, Painting, Carpet and LVT for the Kenton County Justice Center located at 230 Madison Avenue, Covington, KY 41011. The project will be for the specified areas (marked floor plans are enclosed) on floors 2, 4, 6 and 7. Your proposal should indicate the price per floor. This work shall include all labor, material and equipment necessary for the Renovations, Replacement of Carpet and LVT in specified locations. All materials and supplies are to be new as provided by the manufacturer and delivered to the jobsite dry and undamaged. All materials shall be installed according to manufacturer's recommendations. All bidders are encouraged to visit the work site and become familiar with the location and conditions of which they will be obligated to work under. SPECIAL SECURITY RULES WILL APPLY. Furnish supervision, labor, material and equipment to perform the following scope of work: 1. Hang plastic barriers as needed, minimize dust and dirt, and minimize noise 2. Contractor will be responsible for moving ALL furniture, pictures, bookcases, desks and return to its original location to complete the project. 3. Patch all blemishes in drywall to prepare for paint on all floors. 2nd FLOOR: 1. Build new metal stud wall to infill existing opening, install R-19 batt insulation, drywall, sand, finish and paint to match the existing walls. (See drawing) 2. 2nd floor: Build new metal stud wall at new hallway door location, install R-19 soundproof insulation, drywall, sand and finish to match existing walls. Install metal doorframe to match existing frames, install new door to match existing doors with mortised lockset able to incorporate BEST Key controlled IC locks. (See drawing) Customer will supply IC cores and keys. 3. Rework existing ceiling grid and tiles to accommodate new wall, height needs to be at least 6" above existing ceiling. 4. Patch and prep walls and paint (See 2nd floor paint schedule) 4th FLOOR: Patch, sand and paint all walls (See 4th floor paint schedule) 6th FLOOR: Patch, sand and paint all walls (See 6th floor paint schedule) 7th FLOOR: 1. Remove wallpaper in 2 Judges chambers, skim coat walls, finish and paint all walls according to plan. (See plan) 2.
