Estimate Value Under $60,000 The Town of Caryville hereby request proposals and price quotes from qualified individuals or firms to provide building contractor services for remodeling of the Town Community Center, located at 866 Waits Avenue, Caryville Florida 32427. Funding is through available (on-hand) Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (CLFRF) funds. Contractor services will include design and construction, all required permits are the responsibility of the Contractor, as are any demolition of existing structures, continuous cleanup, and disposal of all waste materials. Bids may be broken into phases with payment for each phase after inspection and management approval, if desired. Items that are to be addressed in this project include: Complete renovation of Restrooms to American Disability Act standards, with new fixtures, walls, ceiling, exhaust and plumbing (walls may need moving and toilet relocation). Renovate kitchen with new fixtures, cabinets, (make space for freestanding icemaker) and install necessary plumbing and replace walls and ceiling with drywall, Replace existing interior walls and ceiling in Hall, auditorium, and stage with drywall, textured paint. Replace Stage floor carpeting with laminate flooring. Offices and stores rooms are excluded from renovation. Replace lighting in Restrooms, Hall, Kitchen and Auditorium with LED fixtures. Electrical work as needed, including replacing receptacles, switches, wiring, etc. Proposals will be considered on an equal competitive basis using the following criteria: (1) Successful remodeling experience: Max 30 points; (2) Proposed approach: Max 25 points; (3) Qualification of project staffing Max 30 points; (4) Ability to stay within project budget and FEE: Max 15 points. The remodeling contract (to be submitted by the approved Contractor) will be subject to approval by the Town Council of the Town of Caryville. In accordance with Chapter 287.133(2)(a), Florida Statues, a person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a proposal.
