The City of Pomona is soliciting bids for the construction of a new sixty-foot (60') aluminum supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) radio tower and the decommissioning of an existing sixty-foot (60') aluminum SCADA tower, in accordance with the Scope of Service and/or Specifications stated herein. The contractor must be licensed and registered as a State of California Class A and C-10 contractor. The contractor and their workers must have 40-Hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Certification. The selected contractor must have five (5) years of experience in constructing SCADA and telemetry infrastructure improvements. These improvements must include at least equipping the SCADA tower construction, associated telemetry and electrical conduit construction, construction/disassembly of SCADA structures, telemetry radios, telemetry antennas, and all associated electrical infrastructure.
