Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) invites qualified GENERAL Contractors, to submit sealed bids to furnish all labor & material to complete requirements of bidding for ACTIVE LEARNING S2309 & FY23 FLOORING & PAINTING. Vendors are responsible for ensuring that bids are received by the above office prior to the deadline. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Contractors who have submitted a bid are invited, but not required, to attend the bid opening. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/) and the Drug Free Workplace Act (30 ILCS 580/). All contractors and subcontractors shall demonstrate experience on projects of similar size and type. While this project is not administered by the Capital Development Board all contractors and subcontractors must be pre-qualified with the CDB for a minimum of 45 days. Further information concerning the specifications of this invitation to bid resulting from questions submitted, either in writing or resulting from the pre bid meeting/site visit, will be communicated in the form of an addendum. E-mail or verbal responses to questions are not a part of the bid documents and only formal addendum will govern. The Central Illinois Builders' Non-Cash Security Method for request of documents will be accepted on this project, as well. The bidder shall furnish a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the amount bid in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, made payable to Lincoln Land Community College. The Lincoln Land Community College, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, all contractors will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of the owner's race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, income-level, or LEP in consideration for an award. LLCC reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bids received, or to permit timely correction of minor deficiencies in bids whenever such rejection or waiver is in the interest of LLCC and to accept the bid or bids being most favorable to LLCC after all bids have been examined and evaluated.
