Mold Mediation and Remodel Basement of City Hall (100 E. 9th Ave Colona) The City of Colona is soliciting qualified construction firms interested in providing Bids for labor services for demolition of basement wall coverings, floor coverings and ceiling coverings. Mediate all mold issues located within the basement walls, floors, and ceiling structure. Once mold is mediated, remodel basement per plans and materials list provided by City of Colona. (Materials will be purchased by City of Colona from Anchor Lumber, Silvis) (Labor must be bid at Prevailing Wage) In order to be considered, the firm must show expertise and be licensed/bonded in mold mitigation within the state of IL and the City of Colona, firm should provide a list of similar projects, a list of personnel who will be involved in the project along with their relevant experience in this type of work. In addition, a list of (3) references, a proposed scope of services to include availability for public meetings, current workload, and a timeline for contract execution and completion should be included. A selection committee consisting of the public works director, public works committee chairman and Administrator of Economic Dev. will review the statements/bids for selection. If selected contractor must provide a performance bond in the amount of the total project payable to the City of Colona. Submittals must be made in a sealed envelope identified/labeled as Colona City Hall Basement Remodel BID .
