Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Elmhurst, Illinois. Working plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
**As of March 21,2023, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid.** The Elmhurst Park District is accepting sealed bids for the following identified project: 2023 Wilder Park Horticulture Complex Repair Project. The work generally includes: repairs and upgrades to the facility's vents and replacement of all of the facility's shade cloths. The successful contractor must provide a bid security in the amount of 10% of the base bid with the bid proposal for this project. Proof of insurance is required within ten days of the award of the contract. This is a State of Illinois/ DuPage County prevailing wage project. Contractors and subcontractors performing work on this project are solely responsible for determining the applicable prevailing wage rates at the time of written proposal submissions and performance of the work. The Elmhurst Park District Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to waive all technicalities, to accept or reject any or all bids, to accept only portions of a proposal and reject the remainder. It is the contractor's/ bidder's responsibility to field verify conditions and dimensions and to report any discrepancy in writing to Daniel Payne, Director of Parks, at dpayne@epd.org.
