Renovation of a residential development in West Helena, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT Bids for renovation to fire damaged unit at 209 E. Garland, West Helena, AR. Work tasks will include removal and replacement of drywall, kitchen cabinets, trim, doors, light fixtures, floor tile, electrical. A. The Contractor will furnish all labor, tools, and/or equipment for the demolition and remodel of one fire-damaged unit in West Helena, Arkansas. B. Repair water leak C. Repair electrical issues. D. Remove and replace all light fixtures in affected areas. E. Remove and replace drywall according to specs, on walls and ceiling. Install drywall tape, and float to prepare for painting. F. Replace upper and lower kitchen cabinets, countertops, and new fixtures. G. Replace interior doors, hardware, and trim, furnish and install new doorknobs. H. Replace all baseboards and trim. I. Paint the interior of exterior doors (Color selected by Owner). (Dead Bolt supplied by Owner). J. Remove all existing floor covering, prep floor, and replace with new vinyl flooring. K. Install window blinds. L. Remove and replace 5/8" drywall in ceilings of kitchen, dining room, water heater closets, pantry, hallways, bathroom, living room, front porch, prep for texture and paint. M. Remove old and install new R19 batt insulation in ceilings where sheetrock is removed N. Remove and reinstall all lighting fixtures. O. Paint walls, seal/prime then paint the walls, ceilings, doors, and all trim of entire unit. (1 coat sealer, 2 coats paint). P. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to inspect existing conditions and verify all building sizes/dimensions prior to submitting a bid. Q. The Contractor is responsible forthe proper disposal of all constructiongenerateddebris. All debris is to be removed daily. R. All work to be in compliance with the State and Local Authorities S. The contractor shall obtain and pay for, if any, all permit fees and other similar charges. T. The Contractor at no additional expense to the PHA will replace all work failing to be approved by The Helena-West Helena Housing Authority. U. The complete scope of work addresses the following: Apt. 209-Kitchen LxWxH 10' x 8' 7" x 8' 297.33 SF Walls 85.83 SF Ceiling 383.17 SF Walls & Ceiling 85.83 SF Floor 9.54 SY Flooring 37.17 LF Floor Perimeter 80.00 SF Long Wall 68.67 SF Short Wall 37.17LF Ceil.
