Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Desoto, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

**As of May 3, 2023, project was awarded to Gershenson Construction Co., Inc., awarded amount is $2,646,730.25.** Bridge replacement at three locations Armbruster Rd. over Haverstick Creek; Doss Hollow Rd. over tributary to Plattin; & Harness Rd. over tributary to Hocum Hollow. The existing structures are considered structurally deficient. The proposed Armbruster Rd. structure is a pre-stressed concrete I-Girder Bridge will be 35' wide x 6 1' long. The proposed Doss Hollow structure is a pre-stressed NU-Girder Bridge that will be 35' wide by 90' long. The proposed Harness Rd. structure is a pre-stressed concrete I-Girder Bridge that will be 35' wide by 70' long. All bridges will include: Removal of existing bridges, New bridge abutments, reinforced concrete decking, concrete bridge approaches, horizontal and vertical alignment improvements, new revetment rock lining the creek banks to prevent erosion, and guardrail. Roadway work will be necessary to tie-in grades and the existing roadway. The total length of Armbruster Rd. Bridge is 292', Doss Hollow Rd. Bridge is 400', & Harness Rd. Bridge is 575'. All bidders must be on MoDOT's Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2022 Edition. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening.
