The City of Cleveland Heights, Ohio ("City") issues this Request for Qualifications to seek a Construction Manager at Risk to provide design, engineering and construction services in connection with the renovation of the City's North Ice Rink Project ("Project"). The City seeks qualifications from prospective companies interested in performing the work and shall provide with such response information regarding its competence to perform the required services as indicated by the training and experience of the company, its key personnel and consultants, especially training and experience with similar ice rink projects. All responses shall be evaluated in accordance with the requirements of City Ordinances. Upon receipt of submissions, the City may hold discussions with individual firms to explore further the firm's Statement of Qualifications, scope and nature of the services the firm will provide and the various technical approaches the firm may take toward the Project. All interested parties must review the specific information set forth in the Request for Qualifications on the City's website and comply with it. The City reserves the right to reject any and all responses, to waive informalities, to readvertise, to cancel the Project at any time and to enter into a contract determined to be in the best interests of the City in accordance with all applicable City Ordinances. The City of Cleveland Heights ("City") is soliciting statements of qualifications from experienced Construction Managers at Risk for the delivery and furnishing of all necessary materials, labor, equipment, and professional services for the design and construction services associated with the replacement of the 100' x 200' North Ice Rink located at the Cleveland Heights Recreation Center. This project includes the removal of the existing hockey ice rink floor, infra-structure (including all piping) and existing hockey dasher boards, glass and protective netting; and replacement of all infrastructure (including new piping) and concrete to provide a new warm underfloor, new cold rink floor, new concrete rink floor and new hockey dasher boards, glass and protective netting.
