Muskegon County Road Commission Janitorial and Grounds Maintenance Services For: Muskegon Rest Area Muskegon County It is the intent of the Muskegon County Road Commission, on behalf of the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), to contract maintenance activities for the following rest area: R-501 SB US-31 approximately 0.5 miles south of White Lake Rd. exit, south of Whitehall, MI (Address: 5344 Automobile Rd., Muskegon, MI) Maintenance responsibilities for this contract include the following sections from the TECHNICAL SPECIAL PROVISIONS: I. General Maintenance II. Building Maintenance III. General Grounds and Flower Bed Landscaping IV. Lawn Maintenance V. Rest Area Refuse Disposal All bids are to be received on the bid form provided and in a sealed envelope plainly marked as to the item bid upon and the name of bidder. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities in any bid and make award in any manner deemed for the best interests of the County. The Muskegon County Road Commission operates on an Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action basis in its bidding policy (Title VI of the Civil Rights Acts of 1964, the Civil Rights Act of 1987 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Non-discrimination and Title VII of Civil Rights Act of 1964, Equal Opportunity Clause, Executive Order 11246, Revised).
