Site work for a water / sewer project in Justin, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Question Deadline 02/27/2023 The project is located in the ETJ of the City of Justin, Texas, south of FM 407, between Bill Cook Road and Boss Range Road, generally following Trail Creek. The site may be reached from Interstate Highway 35W by traveling north to the SH-114 West. Once on SH-114 West, exit FM-156 and turn right, heading north. Continue heading north for approximately 4.0 miles and turn left onto W 1st Street/FM 407. The project site will be a mile west on the left. The project scope includes approximately 11,950 linear feet of 15-36 sanitary sewer pipe. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashiers check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days after the date the Contractor is notified. The Owner is not obligated to accept the lowest bid or any bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bids or in bidding. The Owner may accept the bid of any responsible person deemed most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the project. The contract award may include full consideration of unit prices, alternates, time of completion, and financial standings with the District, Hillwood Communities, and the City of Justin. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 90 days from the date bids are open. ATTENTION: Pursuant to Texas Government Code 2252.908, if awarded the contract, you must be able to provide Proposed Tradition MUD No. 2C of Denton County (the District) with a printed, executed and notarized original of a completed Certificate of Interested Parties form (Form 1295) and a Verification of Compliance with Government Code Chapters 2252 and 2270 form. Failure to do so will result in the District's inability to execute the contract.
