Renovation of an educational facility in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the Limestone District School Board (the "Board") to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for 23-37 Roof & Window Replacement at Bayridge Secondary School as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). ONLY General Contractors who have prequalified as per the Board's Request for Supplier Qualifications # 12-17. Mechanical and Roofing Subcontractors have prequalified as well. The scope of work includes for the replacement 1,485 sqm of existing roofing with a new modified bitumen roof system, including associated mechanical, electrical and sheet metal work. In addition, the project includes the replacement of 4 large windows - 3 of which are adjacent to the roof areas being replaced. Finally, the project includes the temporary removal of two existing chiller units and the associated structural steel support and mechanical services, modifications to the support and services and reinstallation.
