Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bastian, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
1) Remove and dispose of existing drainage structures, remove 23-4 x 12 section of existing sidewalk; install new 6 drainage line for gutter down spouts (Approx. 180); install new 6 trench drainage structure with 6 drain line (Approx. 180 with two corners and metal grating); 6 drain lines are to run separately underground until slope, then separately on top of slope grade to terminate at the toe of the slope (quantity unknown); replace removed section of sidewalk; add and shape stone base, placement of 4 concrete pad within the 60 x 60 courtyard. Expansion and construction joints are to be installed with the locations as recommended by contractor. The County of Bland is requesting bids for the placement of concrete and drainage system in the courtyard of the Wolf Creek Indian Village Museum Building.
