The Bland County School Board (the Board) invites bids from qualified vendors for the lawn mowing and grounds maintenance of five (5) locations. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to verify any and all location grounds before submitting a bid. The Contractor shall be responsible for securing any and all permits needed from the Bland County Administrator's Office. This contract will cover lawn mowing and grounds maintenance for all of the school system's five locations from March 1, 2024 through February 28, 2025. It shall be subject to four (4) successive annual renewals thereafter at the option of the School Board. Any question, for which the answer would affect price or delivery of services, must be submitted in writing by 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023. Questions should be e-mailed to Mike Grim at mgrim@bland.k12.va.us. The Bland County School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to contract as the best interest of the Bland County Public School System may require.
