As of April 27 the project was awarded to David H. Martin Excavating for $284,452.50. SEALED PROPOSALS will be received and considered by the Town Council of the Borough of Chambersburg for: SOUTH MAIN STREET VEGETATED SWALE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT in accordance with Specifications. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of the amount of the Contract Price within fifteen days following the award of the Contract. This Project is financed in part by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Growing Greener Watershed Protection Grant. As such, additional requirements as further outlined in the bid documents and grant agreement must be followed, including, but not limited to, PA prevailing wage.
