Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Littleton, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This project provides a replacement of an existing bridge over the South Platte River on CR 67. The existing structure has a bridge deck that is structurally deficient and currently has steel plates on the bridge deck to provide temporary safety to the driving public. The structure is also functionally obsolete due to the narrow roadway and substandard guardrail on the bridge. ARPA Funds have been requested for this project. This project is in included in the County of Jefferson FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of February 14, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
