Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Shawnee, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project will include construction of street improvements approximately 640 feet in length on King Street from 59th Terrace to Johnson Drive. This includes widening of pavement, full depth asphaltic concrete construction, curb & gutters, sidewalk, storm sewer improvements, signing, street trees, and seeding and sodding. Each Bidder shall provide with their Bid a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check, in an amount not less than 5% of the total amount of the Bid. Bid security will be returned to the unsuccessful Bidders as indicated in the Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. The Contract will be awarded by the Governing Body of the Owner at the complete and sole discretion of such Governing Body. The Project has a duration of 60 days from Notice to Proceed to reach Substantial Completion and 75 days from Notice to Proceed reach Final Completion. The Owner anticipates the Notice to Proceed will be issued on approximately September 1, 2024. Question Deadline 07/31/2024 Questionsreceived less than three days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
