Clark/Sullivan Construction, as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the project listed above, is seeking prequalified subcontractors to bid the work described herein. Pursuant to NRS 338.16991, subcontractors must have prequalified with Clark/Sullivan Construction in the past (2) years to submit a proposal. Clark/Sullivan Construction will return unopened a proposal received from a subcontractor who has not prequalified. The project consists of a seismic retrofit and historical renovation of the Heroes Memorial & Annex, located at 198 South Carson St., Carson City, NV 89701, and associated site improvements. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: hazardous material remediation, earthwork, underground utilities, AC paving, landscaping, temporary shoring, concrete (site and building), shotcrete, masonry and masonry repointing, structural & miscellaneous steel, rough carpentry, casework, solid surfacing, roofing, waterproofing, window restoration, glazing, doors/frames/hardware, metal framing/drywall, acoustic ceilings, insulation, painting, flooring & coatings, specialties, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, tele/data, and security. Additional project requirements and key information is as follows: Prevailing wage rate requirements. State of Nevada bidding requirements, including apprenticeship utilization. Clark/Sullivan Construction is signatory to the local carpenter and laborer unions. Clark/Sullivan Construction intends to bid select scopes of work. Pursuant to public work bidding requirements and to ensure a fair and competitive bidding process, each self-perform bid will be submitted to the Owner 2-days in advance of the bid due date.
