Saving Project...

Site work for a civil project in Prince George, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.

The purpose of this contract is to upgrade crossing structures and provide road maintenance to provide access to Timber Sale Licenses. An L100 load rating is required for all crossing structures included in this contract. The scope of this contract includes all works included in achieving this load rating for the following crossings, along with associated road earthworks, and submission of the Professional of Records statement of general conformance for each structure. See appendices for bridge site plans. See Schedule C for description of materials provided by the Province and materials provided by the Contractor. Contractor is responsible for providing a Professional of Record engineer. Payment for bridge items will be made upon submission by the engineer of a statement of general conformance for a given crossing. Additionally, this contract includes road maintenance works including: Culvert installation Removal of log culverts Grass seeding Bridge installation, removals, and repairs Sign installation Road grading and shaping Documents can be obtained from https://new.bcbid.gov.bc.ca/ Award is subject to final approval.
