OC Waste & Recycling is soliciting bids from qualified businesses interested in entering into a firm-fixed price contract for Corrugated Steel Pipes and Associated Drainage Products to be purchased on an as-needed basis. Contractor shall provide for the cost of material, manufacturing, delivery of corrugated steel pipe, pipe arches, and associated drainage materials. These products include, but are not limited to pipes, arches, fittings, connectors, inlets, outlets, flumes, drain assemblies, grates, pipe anchors, stakes, expansion joints, gaskets, sealants, and miscellaneous fabrications, and special designs for drainage installations. Contractor shall supply the necessary bolts and nuts needed for assembly at no additional cost Damaged or unacceptable materials shall be repaired or replaced by the Contractor to the satisfaction of a representative of OC Waste & Recycling. Damaged coating shall be repaired in accordance with the applicable provisions of the manufacturer Specifications and/or Caltrans Specifications. Contractor will deliver order no later than two weeks after receipt of order. Contractor shall notify and obtain approval from a representative of OCWR for deliveries that may exceed two weeks. When the lowest bidder is not an OCLSB or DVBE, the sole lowest certified OCLSB or DVBE within five percent (5%) of the lowest bidder shall be given the opportunity to price match the lowest bid. To participate in either preference policy, the sole lowest qualified OCLSB or DVBE must accept the County's offer to price match within three (3) business days from the County's offer, unless otherwise specified by the County. If two or more OCLSBs or DVBEs have tied bids within the 5%, the County shall request best and final bids from each OCLSB or DVBE, which shall price match the lowest bid or better. If the best and final bids are tied, the County shall determine the contract award based on the County's best interest.
