Renovation of an educational facility in Logan, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
DESCRIPTION: Provide lump sum bids for divisions 02000 thru 16000 for Construction phase as per DWA description drawings and specifications. This project will begin June 12, 2023, and will occur through August 10, 2023. TYPE OF BID: The package will be bid using a low bid best Value selection process. PRE-BID MEETING: No pre-bid meeting will be held. Site visits are encouraged. COMPLETION LIQUIDATED DAMAGE Liquidated damages will be assessed in the amount of $150.00 for each calendar day that the project is delayed based on the project schedule for each trade. Construction will begin June 12, 2023 and be completed by August 10, 2023. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT: Upon receipt of a contract in excess of $150,000.00, the successful Contractor shall furnish to the Owner (at the CM/Owner's option) a 100 percent Performance and Payment Bond in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. BID BONDS Bid Bonds will be required on all bids in excess of $150,000.00. RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS: DWA Construction, Inc. and the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in any bid or in the bidding. This is a Davis/Bacon project. Construction is expected to begin June 12, 2023 and complete August 2023.
