The Iowa County Highway Department has received funding from the Surface Transportation Program under the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) Grant. The County is accepting proposals for Consultant Engineering Services for construction of a Shared Bike/pedestrian Multi-use Path along CTH T in the Village of Barneveld. To be eligible for consideration, the proposer must be on the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's current Roster of Eligible Engineering Consultants, and be familiar with Delivery of Non-Traditional Local Program Projects. The successful Consultant(s), the County, the Village of Barneveld, and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation will enter into multi-party Design Services Engineering Contract. The County will be the lead local agency for the Contract. Construction of a Multi-use Shared Bike/Pedestrian Path from the Military Ridge Trail to the Birch Lake Community Park. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
