The Iowa County Highway Department is accepting written response proposals for Consultant Design Engineering Services for 2023-2027 County Trunk Highway Improvements. The County has identified a need for engineered plan design drawings, specifications, and bid estimates to County Trunk Highway Standards for a portion of CTH's described as follows: CTH ID - Provide design engineering services and agency coordination for reconditioning of CTH ID between CTH K and the Dane County Line in the Town of Brigham. Work will include, public involvement meetings, agency coordination, environmental analysis and coordination, wetland mitigation, culvert and drainage evaluation and design, ecological/historical reviews, roadway plan development, project bidding specifications, bid items and engineer's estimate tabulation, utility coordination, and other incidental activities as identified in the Request for Proposals. CTH P - Provide design engineering services and agency coordination for resurfacing of CTH P between STH 80 (Highland) and STH 80 (Muscoda) in the Town of Pulaski. Work will include, public involvement meetings, agency coordination, environmental analysis and coordination, wetland mitigation, culvert and drainage evaluations and design, ecological/historical reviews, roadway plan development, bidding specifications, bid items and engineer's estimate tabulation, utility coordination, and other incidental activities as identified in the Request for Proposals. Along with a need for Facility needs assessment and planning, site plans, structural architectural drawings, specifications, bid estimate, real estate description and acquisition for a satellite shop facility described as follows: Hollandale Shop Facility - Provide a facility needs assessment, design engineering services, and agency coordination for replacement of the existing County Highway Satellite Shop and Salt Shed Facility in or near the Village of Hollandale. Work will include: determination of facility size / needs / location; public involvement meetings; public and agency coordination; environmental analysis, coordination, and mitigation; ecological/historical reviews; structural plan development for two buildings; site facility plan development; real estate acquisition; utility coordination; Bidding plans, specifications and engineer's estimate; and other incidental activities as identified in the Request for Proposals.
