Site work for a mixed-use development in Streamwood, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development.
As of October 7, 2024, project is substantially complete. Phase III Construction Engineering Services for 2023 Woodland Heights East Water and Sewer Improvements The project consists of the installation of approximately 5,600 linear feet of new 4 and 8-inch water main and appurtenances on land bordering McKool Avenue, Miller Avenue and Tinnerella Avenue. There are 200 homes within the project limits that will need their existing water services connected to the new main. Additionally, the project includes sanitary sewer point repairs and a storm sewer repair alongside a house at 723 Suffolk Place. Pre-Final plans, specifications and estimate of costs have been prepared by Village staff and are attached. Final bid documents will be provided to the selected firm once they are made available to contractors for review. The Village is utilizing local funds for this project including all engineering services and construction. The proposed plans have been approved by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) and the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD).
