Site work and paving for a road / highway in State College, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids will be reviewed and voted on to award at the Wednesday March 22, 2023, Patton Township Board of Supervisors' meeting, meeting time of 5:30 PM. The Project consists of: Construction of westbound right turn lane on North Atherton Street (SR 3014) at Woodycrest Street (T-961) along with sidewalks, drainage, and traffic signal improvements. Construction of northbound right turn lane on site access driveway along with sidewalks, drainage, and traffic signal improvements. The Contract is a prevailing wage rate contract. The contract shall be subject to the provisions, duties, obligations, remedies, and penalties of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 981, as amended, 43 P.S. Section 165-1 et seq. A copy of the prevailing wage determination is included in the bidding documents. Bidders must be prequalified by PennDOT for all work associated with this project. Bid security must be provided at the time of bid submission in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price made payable to Patton Township in the form of a certified or bank check or a bid bond issued by an accepted surety and executed by the bidder. Patton Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive bidding informalities. Bids will become subject to public disclosure as required by the Pennsylvania Right To Know law. Bids shall remain valid for sixty (60) days.
